Winamp, XMPlay, Wavosaur, ...

| Apps, Questions and Answers, Title, Photography, Music, Songs, Tags.

Q: Why do you like Steampunk Art?
A: Interesting, ever since I was researching skins for Winamp, and later for XMPlay, I found some really good realistic or hyperrealistic skins on their websites, even though they weren't Steampunk Art, I downloaded some for my own use.

Q: Were you surprised by the food prepared for the astronauts on Artemis 2?
A: Yes, I thought their diet was more like science fiction, that they ate simulated food provided in tubes like those for toothpaste, per meal, their diet would be as if they were in a space hotel, later I will visit the pages provided by NASA.

Q: Would you like to be an astronaut?
A: No, nor would I want to visit the WTC.

Q: Any music?
A: Not now, maybe later.

Q: Any movies?
A: Not now, maybe later.

Q: What are your thoughts on the suffering of the civilian population in areas being attacked by politicians & military?
A: The history of war is nothing new: What is the use of war for the civilian population?

Q: Time for a coffee break?
A: Necessary, despite the package price. ... I'm back.

Q: Were you able to make this post with the radio on?
A: It wasn't difficult or easy; as was predictable, almost none of the music was to my liking, so I could count them on the fingers of one hand and still have fingers left over. Rock music continues to have difficulty staying alive.

Q: Any other questions?
A: I asked the search engine's AI: "How much is the entry fee to compete for an Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences?" It said that there is no entry fee to compete for an award, but briefly mentioned: "Academy Screening Room fee: If a film was not released theatrically due to specific circumstances and needs to be streamed in the Academy Screening Room for voters, the fee is approximately $12,500." This helps explain exactly why a trailer exists for a movie that will never exist.

Q: What went through your brain while it was silent?
A: People who were close but are no longer alive.

Q: Any music to finish with?
A: No.

⏳ What will be the next trap? ⌛🏁

| Questions and Answers, Title, Image, Quote, Tags.

Q: What do you think of people who name their sons or daughters after someone mentioned in one of the editions or versions of the Bible?
A: Was there anyone in that book who wasn't murdered? Resurrection for everyone? How many times?

Q: Do you believe that anyone in any of the versions or editions of that Bible has never died?
A: Given the time that has passed, all those people mentioned have already died, if they even existed; I wasn't there to witness anything.

Q: Have you ever had the free time to read one of the Bibles from beginning to end?
A: No. Not even free time to watch things on TV that seem relevant.

Q: What expression would you use frequently if you were one of the co-authors of that Bible?
A: "Sad, very sad."

Q: What color is the dust shown in the photograph below?
A: Brown, but exactly reddish-brown, but I really have no way of telling if the photograph was artificially colored, perhaps using AI, apparently not. The dust shown strongly resembles chocolate powder; if there's no water in it, there's even less milk.

Q: Do you know if NASA is having any problems with a shortage of screws?
A: I really don't know, but there are photographs that need some explanation, in this one specifically, how to keep a viewfinder almost clean in a dusty place, something really curious.

Q: Would you like to participate in the colonization of Mars? Would you like to spend some time on Mars?
A: No. If there's one thing I consider superfluous, it's dust, it will return sooner rather than later.

Q: Does a person have to agree with everything related to the official version?
A: I don't consider it a problem to rate an app 5☆ if it truly deserves 5☆, but that's not what happens after most tests. If there were a 0☆ option, only a small minority of them would end up in that unfortunate situation; in practice, they would be 1☆. But most of the time, I detail the rating to help the developer understand what happened.

Q: When you drink milk, do you think about becoming milky?
A: No.

Q: When you drink coffee, do you think about changing color?
A: No.

Q: Have you tested and kept installed any apps from developers based in Russia or Ukraine?
A: Yes, from Russia and Ukraine. Most of the time I'm curious to see the developer's location listed in the app store; the internet isn't some idealized new territory completely different from the real world.

Q: Do you currently find anything truly funny on the internet?
A: No. I prefer the internet as it was when I started using it, a technical language whose main subject was computing. I have absolutely no interest in contributing to the impoverishment of the internet.

Q: Where would the end of the world be in modern times?
A: Based on what is not shown on the incomplete world map provided for the app, the end of the world would be a little before the North Pole. I really don't know if the North Pole was annihilated by the ozone layer on that map; it's a dark region where satellites come and go several times, but it hasn't reappeared on that map yet. I'll wait, drowsy, but I don't know if I'll have the patience to wait another month.

Q: Do you know the difference between a bucket and a house?
A: I think and believe so, and it's not just now. I won't even consult AI out of curiosity to see how it would rewrite this answer, one of the uses of AI as a text revision tool, but in the next answer I consulted a translation app that shows some alternatives for the translated text.

Q: Any music to finish with?
A: No. It's very difficult these days to consider rock music a viable alternative for neutralising the oppression of life in a huge and noisy city. I'd say the noisy city has won.

Q: Anything else?
A: I can buy a bucket, but not a house.

I am not AI.

| Title, Questions and Answers, Video, Music, Photography, Quote, Tags.

Q: Why don't you ask an AI app to write your original texts? Wouldn't that be easier and faster?
A: The first question is already the answer: I am not AI.

Q: What are your thoughts on the strange and warlike situations being shown on TV news?
A: They really are strange and warlike situations, it's as if the USA film industry, extremely belligerent and full of vices, is leaving the cinema and entering the real world, and after some destruction, it's reported on TV, but it's not just the USA that's warlike; in the real world, violence is real.

Q: Has any movie that aired on TV recently caught your attention enough to make you want to watch it?
A: Moneyball (2011), due to the approach taken to the subject.

Q: Did you notice a photograph of Joe Strummer behind Brad Pitt in a scene from that movie?
A: Easily recognizable, perhaps from the time of the Combat Rock, disc from 1982.

Q: Have you ever met someone who genuinely enjoyed losing?
A: No, but I know of at least three former presidents of the republic, two men and one woman, who would have been better off if they hadn't been elected.

Q: From which countries do most of the satellites above you originate?
A: If I have been informed correctly, and if I have correctly interpreted what I have been informed, the sequence is this: United States of America, European Union, Russia.

Q: What is something useful that is lacking in everyday life?
A: Silence.

Q: Any good news?
A: Autumn is coming, the best season of all.

Q: Has the world map been completed yet? Which app will you test next?
A: No, the world map is not yet complete; it is missing a row of approximately twelve tiles corresponding to the top part of planet Earth. I still don't know which app I'll find useful to install and test next.

Q: Any music to finish with?
A: No.

Q: Will you illustrate this post with a plate of food?
A: I still don't know which image I will use.

Q: What are your thoughts on TV content related to competition between people, who is better than whom at something: cooking, ...?
A: Apparently there is a warlike competition to see which capitalist country destroys the greatest amount of material goods from the civilian population and generates the greatest amount of suffering for the survivors with weapons of mass destruction, specifically against people of Arab origin. I don't know if this is a consequence of the inertia of some historical resentment related to the end of the generous price of oil that filled the tanks of muscle cars in the USA and made Alice Cooper in the early seventies cry at the end of the much-mentioned 'American dream'.

Q: Do you know exactly where the expression 'rock and roll' comes from?
A: No. I know more than one explanation for the meaning of the expression. Apparently, none of them are exact or convincing, and all can be pejorative, but the expression 'rock music' best expresses the current and comprehensive meaning, which includes various styles, including pop rock, which is more pop than rock.

Q: Do you waste several sheets of paper while writing these texts?
A: Not a single sheet of paper; that way, the trees can exist in peace.

Q: Have you returned from your virtual trip on the Artemis 2 space mission yet?
A: As far as I know, I haven't yet departed to go to the moon and then return to Earth. In the last informational message, preparatory tests were being carried out towards the launch; more precisely, the rocket was being moved, at the speed of a tortoise, towards launch. ... I just read that the launch is scheduled for April.

Q: I see you now have an image to illustrate this post. Is it a photograph of Saturn in autumn? Was it taken by the Hubble telescope or the Webb telescope?
A: This is a photograph of a lamp that survived from the specific time when I lived and worked from home, alone. I used it temporarily in the hallway of my old home, but I didn't like it very much and removed it. It's now temporarily in another location until I find a conventional replacement. It was a happy time full of hope, but the electorate doesn't want my point of view to exist. Society doesn't want me to be a happy person without having to give something in return.

Q: Is it a blue light bulb Made in Brazil?
A: If I remember correctly, it's a blue light bulb Made in China.

Q: In which school year did you begin learning to write in English?
A: If I remember correctly, it was in the first year of middle school, as a second language, not as my native language. Therefore, my learning of English began after the children who were raised in countries where English is the primary language.

Q: Were there people from other countries at any of the schools where you studied?
A: Yes, as far as I know, from England and the USA.

Q: What was a basic and useful invention for humans?
A: Clothing, specifically footwear.

Q: What are your thoughts on night work being done on construction sites?
A: First, sunlight is irreplaceable. Night work on any construction site should only be performed in emergencies. If outdoor night work is performed because of vehicle traffic, sunlight should be prioritized, it should begin when the Sun is rising and end when the Sun is setting, more precisely, begin at Civil Twilight (morning) and end at Civil Twilight (night), or something close to that. ... Sun with a capital letter, due to its importance in this solar system.

Q: What is your current feeling about living where you are currently living?
A: It feels like I'm renting and the noisy city from Monday until at least Saturday is trying to drive me out of where I live, but it wasn't like this in a past that seems more distant every hour, and the end is getting closer every day.

Pumpkin is not a carrot.

| Photography, Art, Questions and Answers, Title, Tags.

Q: I noticed that in your recent posts you've prioritized food-related content in your images. Have you tried the cuisine of other countries?
A: Yes, including Arabic and Chinese cuisine. I wouldn't be able to say exactly where the various cuisines that have nourished me over time originated, I think they were a mixture of cuisines from several countries, but adapted to the country where I am based. Currently, my diet is basically homemade, I don't have the desire or time for any sophisticated food.

Q: Did I make a mistake, or did the rice burn a little?
A: Both, you made a mistake and the rice burned a little again. I'll try to be more careful next time.

Q: Would you like to suggest a Toy Dolls song for that rice that's stuck to the bottom of the pan?
A: No.

Q: What are your thoughts on the news about politics in the country where you are based?
A: All revolutions are coming from the Exact Sciences, if humans cannot keep up and adapt, they will be excluded and neutralized.

Q: Is there a scent that reminds you of something good in your life?
Q: The smell of firewood has the power to take me away from this noisy, rich, and miserable city, and transport me to a good place in my memory, distant in location and time, but that smell rarely reaches my nose.

Q: Is eating a priority in your life?
A: No, sleep comes first.

Q: What do you really consider useful right now?
A: The sun, the air, me being alive, me still continuing to live, ...

Q: Did you consider it relevant that at least one song by the band Idles was used in a film with ultraviolence?
A: Unnecessary, it didn't sound like something related to the second half of the seventies, nor like something related to the beginning of the eighties, it was as out of place as using some of the band's music in the film A Clockwork Orange (1971).

Q: Any music to finish with?
A: No.

Q: Does the human body make good use of the food that has been consumed?
A: No. Perhaps if humans were fed a diet administered by NASA, human nutrition would be more optimized, but I think and believe that a large number of people would not want to make the transition or would not adapt to the change, even if optimized products were available in the supermarket.

Q: Won't you mention The Clash - Lost in the Supermarket – London Calling (1979)?
A: No. I will mention:
I'm So Bored with the USA – The Clash (1977)(UK);
Safe European Home – Give 'Em Enough Rope (1978).

Q: Have you ever wanted a piece of the 'American dream' at some point in your life?
A: No, not even some American nightmare. When I started out in the incredible, all-encompassing world of computing, the most informative and highest-quality content was in English, and it's still like that today, at that time, I was also curious to visit the websites of several famous USA universities to see if they offered any useful software for download, not tons of theories that wouldn't be useful to me in the short term, I don't know if that would exactly be 'a slice of the American dream', but there was almost nothing available that was equivalent to, and even less superior to, what was found on specific software distribution platforms, in the past a basic platform would be Download.com.

apps

| Questions and Answers, Music, Title, Photographs, Tags.

Q: After all this time and dedication, will you stop or will you continue?
A: This suggests a song by a band I like.

Q: Are you happy with the distribution of content on TV?
A: No, and that's not a recent thing.

Q: Do you feel indifferent when you see images of destruction, suffering, and waste generated by wars?
A: No, and this has become more intense in everyday life, including the collateral effects for the future.

Q: Has the past been well managed by humans?
A: No.

Q: What is the main threat to humans?
A: Humans.

Q: What is the main threat to the capitalist system?
A: The capitalist system.

Q: Any music?
A: It's not possible at the moment, I no longer have my electric guitar and my distortion pedal to compose some energetic songs, probably influenced by urban life in a big city, a rich and miserable city.

Q: Have you ever misinterpreted something in your artistic life?
A: Read the answer to the previous question.

Q: Does the world need a new Hitler?
A: No, neither in the Occident nor in the Orient.

Q: Did you ever bother to have a collection of diplomas?
A: Until a certain point in time, then I became interested in knowledge, and the means to acquire knowledge; the means is the end.
I like to analyze what other people have done well, things I would have liked to have done, but didn't for various reasons: chronological reasons, economic reasons, political reasons, ... at this moment I wouldn't know how to describe all the reasons exactly.

Q: Any movies?
A: Not at the moment.

Q: Any music?
A: Not at the moment.

Q: How many meals do you eat per day?
A: Currently, I no longer rely on coffee to avoid feeling sleepy, basic bread from the bakery to have something in my stomach, and a lubricant on the bread after receiving payment for delivering a job, working in a system analogous to slavery, without expressing any suffering, because if any suffering were detected, the delivered work would be rejected, I would have to redo the delivered work, the work would have to be more focused on advertising than on journalism, but in the past I identified more with journalism than with advertising.

Q: Do you understand the criminal mind? Do you know why evil people exist?
A: The topic is interesting. Whenever I can, I analyze the cases that are shown on TV in specific programs about the subject, known as True Crime. Generally, the stories shown are basic and predictable, it was possible to know when a conflict would arise, whether it would escalate, and if a crime would occur. Other cases are more complex. What strikes me about what is shown are extremely violent crimes in sparsely populated areas, even in quiet places it's not possible to live in peace. But there are some extremely perverse cases that draw attention when trying to discover the state of the criminal's brain labyrinth. It is only fair that the extreme violence that any of those evil people unnecessarily inflicted on someone should be turned against them, it is not possible to kidnap a person at night at a bus stop, dismember them, put the dismembered pieces in a freezer, and then use the pieces in meals, that is simply not right.

Q: Regarding the previous question, would you like to mention Iggy Pop - Play it Safe – Soldier (1980)?
A: No, I will spare him, and the distinguished guests of the rock scene, this misfortune.

Q: Have you ever tried or used any illegal additives at any point in your life?
A: No, my interest in rock music was in rock music itself, not the wasteful consumption of illegal substances by some, not even if those substances were legalized, or even if those substances were legal.

Q: What are your thoughts on the hilarious synchronicity, or lack thereof, between two distinct interpretations of the same subject: your interpretation, materialized in a rational text, and the real or imagined lives of other people who experienced situations without your presence?
A: That's a long question, and I'm not sure if the translator app will provide an accurate translation, but I will certainly proofread it before publishing, ... I write what I think, if I make a mistake due to a lack of correct information, I will improve the text next time, if there is a next time.

Q: How many tiles are missing for the map to be complete in the app?
A: Four tiles for sure, and approximately a row of ten more tiles. I really don't know if it will take a month or more for the impoverished supplier to release the other tiles, or if they won't be released at all. Waiting.

Q: Do you understand cryptocurrency?
A: No, but apparently it's something more sophisticated for an audience with extra money, something very far from my reality.

Q: What was the initial title of this publication?
A: Roots of Radical Rock (RRR).

Q: Anything else?
A: I don't know, I'm thinking about it, ... Playing electric guitar and experimenting effects pedals is a good thing to do in life, I don't know if that would be radicalism.

Q: What do people die of in contemporary life?
A: Of natural causes, murdered by the capitalist system.

Q: As a human being, would you dedicate your life to replacing all human labor with automation, so that humans could do something more creative after being freed from capitalist slavery?
A: A realistic color for this future emerging from the Exact Sciences would be black, therefore the non-existence of color.

Q: After all this content you've written and published, would you like to go to Italy to visit the 'Pope'?
A: Is this serious??

Q: Don't forget to include at least one image to illustrate this post.
A: I will not forget. ... I'll post two photos I took while testing two apps.

Q: Do you wear formal clothes while testing an app?
A: No. (Time for a coffee break, I'll be back later. ... I'm back!)
