A: Yes, apparently everything is always intense in the US, even though it's not a war zone. I don't know what's worse, living in a police state or inhabiting a place where there is poverty, misery, and its seasonal criminal side effects. ... A: I didn't watch any of them from beginning to end, but I watched the first one for a longer period of time.

A: No. I had the curiosity and patience to watch it recently from beginning to end. It's a sad but relevant film. Apparently, one injustice was replaced by another; in it, there was a democratization of slavery under the new insurgent government, in red (Bolshviks), and its supporters, resentful of the previous administration, in white (Mensheviks).
